“The Children in Museums Award was established in 2011 by the European Museum Academy and Hands On! International Association of Children in Museums. It recognises excellence and innovation in programmes and exhibits designed for children up to the age of 14 years.”

DASA Award (søknadsfrist 31.mars 2024)
– Best European Museum in Learning Opportunities 2024
“The DASA Award puts the spotlight on educational programmes and exhibitions within (or with) museums. It ranges beyond programmes itself and takes learning opportunities in the broad sense of the word. The jury of museum experts will pay attention to aspects like innovative and daring approaches, whether there is an active participation of the audience, if and how there is a connection with communities and (local) partners, to what extent the programmes include people with (learning) disabilities, in what way societal issues are addressed, and such. Evaluation methodology and its results will be part of the review too.”
Prisen støttes av DASA Working World Exhibition in Dortmund.

Luigi Micheletti Award (søknadsfrist 31.mars 2024)
– Best European Museum in Storytelling 2024
“For 2024 the emphasis of the Award has been on the way museums manage to convey a sense of the past to their visitors through their exhibitions by means of a compelling narrative. It is anticipated that many different kinds of museums will compete for this chance to show how their storytelling provides the public with a better sense of their own identity and their place in the historical landscape.”

Art Museum Award (søknadsfrist 31.mars 2024)
“The Art Museum Award is a European award that places the social role of art museums in the centre. The award honours museum projects placing art in innovative, pioneering and creative contexts, to address and respond to current social issues.”
