A group of 16 people from museums in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Germany will travel between the two places. In addition the group will visit the exhibition Ruoktot that recently has been put on display at Nordlandsmuseet in Bådåddjo/Bodø in collaboration with Árran. We will also visit the exhibition „The controversial Hamsun“ at the Hamsun Centre. Among other things the exhibition problematizes the Nobel Prize award winning author Knut Hamsun’s negative perception of the Sámi.
Thank you for hosting Árran and Várdobáiki! We are looking forward to it!
