European Museum of the Year Award (EMYA) inviterer alle ikke-kommersielle museer som har åpnet eller gjennomgått en fornyelse siden januar 2022 til å sende inn søknad til utdelingen 2027! Prisutdelingen har funnet sted årlig siden 1977.
Under prisutdelingen deles det ut en rekke priser: The European Museum of the Year Award, The Council of Europe Museum Prize, The Kenneth Hudson Award for Institutional Courage and Professional Integrity, The Silletto Prize for Community Participation and Engagement, The Portimão Museum Prize for Welcoming, Inclusion and Belonging og The Meyvaert Museum Prize for Environmental Sustainability, i tillegg til ‘Special Commendations’.
Frist for å sende inn er 15.april 2026.
