Oxford University Museums, in partnership with the Saïd Business School, are delighted to announce that the high highly successful residential leadership programme, Oxford Cultural Leaders, will be running again from 18-23 March 2018.
The programme is designed to enable cultural leaders to develop entrepreneurial ways of thinking and behaving. Having access to expertise from across the cultural and business sectors has led to the development of this unique programme within the museum and cultural sectors internationally. The programme is for dynamic and reflective directors, deputy directors and senior leaders who want to challenge and redefine their identity as a leader and their vision of their organisation.
Recruitment is through a competitive application process, with a panel of cultural members carefully considering what the applicant can contribute to the programme, as sharing knowledge and expertise, and providing peer consultancy and support is core to the programme’s success. The 2018 faculty includes business school experts including Pegram Harrison, Keith Riddle and Robert Poynton, and cultural sector leaders including Di Lees, Director General of the Imperial War Museum, Kaywin Feldman, Director and President of the Minneapolis Institute of Art, and Carole Souter, former Chief Executive of the National Heritage Memorial Fund and the Heritage Lottery Fund.
